A former secret WW2 RAF warehouse full of decorative antiques, curiosities and 20th century design.
A new mission for an old RAF site
Hidden away on a former WWII RAF base in Hertfordshire, Lysanders Antiques takes its name from the Westland Lysander aircraft once stationed here.
From our Sawbridgeworth headquarters, we deal in an ever-changing collection of antiques, decorative pieces, mid-century design, garden pieces and the occasional curiosity that simply refuses to be ignored.
Open to the public - Autumn 2026
After operating from our hangar and antiques fairs across the country, Lysanders is opening its Sawbridgeworth headquarters to the public.
The expanded site will include a new large warehouse, alongside our existing space, creating an even bigger destination for antiques, vintage and decorative pieces.
Our new outdoor areas will also offer an evolving selection of garden antiques, architectural pieces and horticultural items - from planters and statuary to unusual pieces for the garden.
On-site customer parking is available.
Public opening dates and further details will be announced shortly.
